The metal hookah kaloud is used with standard 75mm bowls. The Hookah Team 75mm Black has small slots at the bottom for hot air circulation, and special ridges around the inside of the base for more secure coal placement. The top is closed with a lid that regulates the amount of incoming oxygen.
Adjusting the top doesn't affect hookah draw strength - it's only used to control how fast the coals smolder. With the kaloud fully closed, coconut coal can smolder for up to two hours. With the lid open, heat output increases along with the smolder rate.
The kaloud has rubber grips for comfortable handling while hot.
