The handle houses a display showing the measured temperature, plus 4 buttons.
- Button 1 - power on/off. Also resets the saved min/max temperature values.
- Button 2 - switches measurement scale: Celsius (C), range -50 to +300 degrees, and Fahrenheit (F), range -58 to +572 accordingly.
- Button 3 - cycles through three display modes: minimum temperature, maximum, current temperature (min/max/now).
- Button 4 - saves and displays the just-recorded temperature, or releases the hold.
