This adapter connects additional HDD/SSD drives to the motherboard via a direct PCI-E X16 connection. It has up to 5 ports for connecting drives of various form factors.

Features:

A 7-pin SATA cable must be connected to the motherboard if you want to connect an M.2 SATA SSD (B key). This cable is included.

For proper M.2 SSD operation, the board must be connected to a PCI-E 16X slot or higher. This adapter only supports the PCIe X16 slot and does not support PCIe X1, X4, or X8 slots.
